Welcome to EST assembly DB Eggplant
EST assembly DB Eggplant contains 43,236 assemblies produced from the ESTs corrected from various eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) tissues and treatments. By using 3730xl DNA sequencer, 61,056 cDNA clones were sequenced from both the 5'- and 3'- ends to get 98,086 high quality reads. In addition, 3'-end targeted NGS-based sequencing was done by using GS-FLX Titanium to get 519,243 high quality reads. In total, 617,329 ESTs were assembled into 43,236 unique sequences by using Paracel Transcript Assembler v.2.7.
